NO WORD FROM RQ ON "DODGY" TURN AT REDCLIFFE OR CARE OF INJURED DRIVERS!

Denis Smith. Inquiries to QAS and QRIC have confirmed our situation.. QRIC confirms that all metro and provincial thoroughbred meetings use QAS. QAS cross confirms this, and directed me to the Ipswich regional office who said that they supply service to Ipswich Turf Club. Further, using Marburg as an example they said the service would be sourced from Rosewood base, and provided an order form for us to study. Interestingly, costs are comparable, for a car and two paramedics. RQ should issue a statement to the harness participants, as to its position on the matter. Whatever way you look at it, there is a matter of driver safety, which is of paramount importance. Still suggesting that the 1780 metre distance be not used at Redcliffe until the track is modified. Switching to 2040 at least allows the field to settle somewhat before reaching the winning post first time around. The additional time added to a 10 race program is at most 5 minutes so Sky Channel should be happy with that. Silence on the subject will cure NOTHING!
